Hello everyone! Thanks for tuning in to Matt’s Stats for July 2026! We’ve actually had a pretty active summer, you’ll see transactions are mostly up in our focus communities year-over-year. New Tecumseh and Barrie had the largest transactions increase with 20%+ lift versus last summer. The average sales price is down in most of our communities when compared to last year. Midland posted a +12.7% increase and Georgina posted a 3.7% increases.
When we look at month-over-month, again up and down depending on where you are. But, we are beginning to see a good trend with more buyers getting into the market and we are seeing more homes sell each month, which is extremely positive. Barrie and Midland both posted increases in month-over-month transactions, while transactions were flat VS June in Bradford West Gwillimbury . Georgina and Barrie both posted just over 12% month-over-month average sales price increase as well.
