August 2023 vs. August 2022. Hey everyone! Welcome back and thanks for tuning in for another round of Matt’s Stats! Looking at our year-over-year graphs for August 2023 vs. 2022, you’ll see we’re down in all of these communities in transactions and price.
Midland went up by 5.5%, Orillia also dropped by 36.1%, Barrie went up by 2.0%, New Tecumseth dropped by 48.6% , Bradford dropped by 46.4%, Georgina dropped by 1.8%, Newmarket dropped by 10.6% and Toronto dropped by 11.2% in volume of transactions vs August 2022.
So, when looking at August vs. July 2023, you’ll see that all communities are up in volume of units sold except Newmarket. And, some of these communities were down in average price except Midland, Georgina, and Newmarket.
