Quick side note thanks to Alex for covering July’s market update while I was away getting married! I’m now a happily married man, but let’s dive in to the stats!
The average units sold in all of our regions are down and the total units sold were down in all of these communities. Midland was down 37.9%, Orillia was down 34.5%, Barrie is was down 30.5%, New Tecumseth was down 21.2%, Bradford was down 37.7% Georgina was down 36.7 %, Newmarket was down 43.3% and Toronto was down 26.0% in volume of transactions vs August 2021.
Below are listings vs. sales charts, as well as the average prices of homes from August 2012-2022 for the following cities: Toronto, Newmarket, Bradford, Orillia, New Tecumseth, Midland, Georgina and Barrie.
