April 2023 vs. April 2022. Hey everyone! Welcome back and thanks for tuning in for another round of Matt’s Stats! Looking at our year-over-year graphs for April 2023 vs. 2022, you’ll see we’re down in all of these communities in transactions and price.
Midland has same unit sold as last year, Orillia was down 31.7%, Barrie was down 6.8%, New Tecumseth was down 17.3%, Bradford was up 110.7% Georgina was down 7.7%, Newmarket was down 8.8% and Toronto was down 11.1% in volume of transactions vs April 2022.
This month we added a month-over-month graph! So, when looking at April vs. March 2023, you’ll see that all communities are up in volume of units sold except Orillia and Newmarket. Most of these communities were up in average price.
Below are listings vs. sales charts, as well as the average prices of homes from January 2013-2023 for the following cities: Toronto, Newmarket, Bradford, Orillia, New Tecumseth, Midland, Georgina and Barrie.
