Hello everyone! Thanks for tuning in to Matt’s Stats for June 2025! Let’s start off with comparing June 2025 vs. 2024, where you will notice that total transactions are up across 5 of our 8 focus communities: Midland (+60%), Orillia (+42.8%), New Tecumseth (+ 40%), Georgina (+16%) and Toronto (+6.7%). However, most regions experienced a decrease in average sale price with Midland (+12.2%) and New Tecumseth (+3.6%) being the only regions posting an increase in average sales price year over year.
When looking at the month over month figures we notice some mixed results. June 2025 vs. May 2025 New Tecumseth (+16.6%), Barrie (+3.5%), Newmarket (+3.7%), and Toronto (1.6%) all saw an increase in total transactions, where Orillia (-16.6%), Midland (-5.8%), Georgina (-4.9%), and Bradford West Gwillimbury (-4%) experienced a decrease in units sold. The average sales price was up and down as well month over month with Midland (+7.8%), New Tecumseth (+5.7%), Georgina (+3.4%) and Newmarket (+1.2%) posting an increase in average sale price and Orillia (-3.7%), Barrie (-3.4%), Bradford West Gwillimbury (-3.4%) and Toronto (-4.5%) experiencing a decrease in average sale price month over month.
