March 2023 vs. March 2022. Hey everyone! Welcome back and thanks for tuning in for another round of Matt’s Stats! Looking at our year-over-year graphs for March 2023 vs. 2022, you’ll see we’re down in all of these communities in transactions and price.
Midland was down 53.6% in units sold, Orillia was down 11.6%, Barrie was down 32.8%, New Tecumseth was down 41%, Bradford was down 38.7% Georgina was down 43%, Newmarket was down 17% and Toronto was down 38% in volume of transactions vs March 2022.
This month we added a month-over-month graph! So, when looking at March vs. February 2023, you’ll see that all communities are up in volume of units sold. Most of these communities were up in average price.
Below are listings vs. sales charts, as well as the average prices of homes from March 2013-2023 for the following cities: Toronto, Newmarket, Bradford, Orillia, New Tecumseth, Midland, Georgina and Barrie.
