August 2021 vs. August 2020. We saw a strong year over year increase in price, however volume was down across all of these communities. Last month, year-over-year, housing prices were up all double digits. 26.9% in Barrie, 33.43% in Bradford, 20.99% in Newmarket, and 11.20% in the Toronto area.
For August vs. August 2020, you’ll see that total transactions were down in all of these communities. Barrie was down 28.6% vs August last year, Bradford was down almost 35%, Toronto was down 36.6% and Newmarket was down 38.51%.
