June 2021 vs. June 2020, It has been another month of average sale price increases, however the total units sold in Barrie and Bradford were down. Last month, year-over-year, housing prices were up across all communities: 34% in Barrie, 36% in Bradford, 23.4% in Newmarket, and 11.5% in the Toronto area.
For June 2021 vs. June 2020, you’ll see that transactions were up in 2 of the 4 cities listed below, with Newmarket leading the way with a 39.5% increase in transactions. Toronto came in 2nd with a 21.9% increase in total units sold. Barrie and Bradford were both down with 12.4% and 10.3% decrease in transaction respectively.
