Last month year-over-year housing prices were up across our communities: approximately 5% in Barrie, 8% in Bradford, 2% in Newmarket, and 5% in the Toronto area.
If you’re looking to sell your home, the number of homes sold is a good sign of how the market performed: in Barrie approximately 19% or 237 units were sold, in Bradford 0.1% or 62 units were sold, in Newmarket approximately 12% or 113 units were sold, and in Toronto approximately 14% or 8,491 units were sold.
The average sale price was up in October 19 over October 2018: in Barrie the average sale price was about $490,854, in Bradford the average sale price was bout $761,285, in Newmarket the average sale price was about $807,004, and in Toronto the average sale price was about $852,142.
